From One Piece to Jujutsu Kaisen, the Jump Festa 2026 was filled with major reveals.
Jump Festa 2026, organised by Shueisha, took place over the weekend on 20 and 21 December, 2025. The event was practically stacked with major title reveals across these two days. Between season renewals, release dates and windows, and grand finale trailers, you might have missed something important. However, we are here to put all your worries to rest, as in this article we are going to map out every major and minor anime news announcement made during Jump Festa 2026.
Jump Festa 2026 Day 1 (20 December, 2025)
Jump Super Stage
My Hero Academia
The popular shōnen title My Hero Academia just released the final episode of its eighth and final season. During Jump Festa, an emotional new trailer for the final season was revealed. It was also announced that a special episode titled ‘More’, adapting Kohei Horikoshi’s manga’s chapter 431, will be released on 2, May, 2026.
Gintama
The Gintama stage revealed that the previously-announced Yoshiwara in Flames movie will premiere in Japan on 13 February, 2026.
Jujutsu Kaisen
Ahead of the much anticipated release of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 on 8 January 2026, the anime announced six new cast members. The first full-length trailer of the anime has also been released.
Oblivion Battery
The popular baseball anime Oblivion Battery is getting a second season in 2027. A brand-new key visual has been released to commemorate the news.
KAIJU NO. 8
The Kaiju No. 8 anime announced two new projects at the Jump Festa 2026. The first is the final chapter of the anime series, for which a short trailer has also been released. The second project is a short anime series titled ‘Narumi’s Ordinary Days’ or ‘Narumi’s Week at Work’, which will follow the JAKDF First Division Captain Gen Narumi.
The Prince of Tennis
The sequel anime series of The Prince of Tennis II U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL has been announced at the Jump Festa this year. The series will air in Fall 2026 and a short trailer and teaser visual has also been revealed.
World Trigger
It was previously announced that the World Trigger anime will get a reboot series at Toei Animation. At Jump Fiesta, the first trailer for the upcoming remake was released. The original anime came out in 2014.
Sakamoto Days
Sakamoto Days, the popular shōnen anime from 2025, announced at the Jump Festa 2026 that the series has been renewed for a second season. The confirmation also came with a trailer and visual.
Jump Studio
Mission: Yozakura Family
Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 released a new trailer at Jump Festa ahead of its April 2026 release.
Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku
The second season of Hell’s Paradise is coming out on 11 January, 2026. Ahead of the Winter release, the anime revealed a new trailer at the Jump Festa stage. The trailer features the show’s new opening theme ‘Kasukana Hana’ performed by Tatsuya Kitani fr. BABYMETAL.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles
The underrated action-comedy series Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 announced its 2027 release window. A new key visual has been revealed.
Chained Soldier
Ahead of the 8 January 2026 release of its second season, the Chained Soldier anime unveiled a brand new trailer. The video features the opening theme song ‘Hikari yo, Boku ni’ performed by Akari Kito. Three new voice actors were also revealed, which include:
- Maia Azuma voiced by Kaori Maeda
- Homare Azuma voiced by Yuna Nemoto
- Tobera Azuma voiced by Shiori Izawa

Kindergarten WARS
The upcoming Kindergarten WARS anime, produced by SUNRISE, has released a new key visual of the series, featuring the two main characters Rita and Doug. The main staff was also announced which includes:

Jump Super Stage
Blue Box
It was confirmed at the Jump Festa stage that the popular romance anime Blue Box will return with its second season in Fall 2026. A new key visual has also been released.
Dr. Stone
Dr. Stone: SCIENCE FUTURE, which is the fourth and final season of the Dr. Stone anime, will air its third cour in April 2026. A short trailer for the sequel has been released and a character named Sai has also been introduced.
DAN DA DAN
Season 3 of DAN DA DAN will premiere sometime in 2027. At the Jump Festa, this news was announced alongside a brand new key visual of Okarun, Momo, Turbo Granny, and the mysterious girl in the Kaiju suit.
BLEACH
It has been confirmed that BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 -The Calamity, will air in July 2026. A stunning teaser trailer and key visual have been revealed.
Akane Banashi
A new full-length trailer for the Akane Banashi anime was unveiled at Jump Festa. The series will air in April 2026.
Chainsaw Man
A short official trailer for the Chainsaw Man anime’s upcoming Assassins Arc was unveiled at Jump Festa. Unfortunately, we don’t know when the sequel will air. Moreover, the Chainsaw Man mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto’s other manga Look Back is getting a live-action film after its smash hit anime movie adaptation. A trailer for the Look Back movie was also released.
One Piece
The One Piece anime’s Elbaph Arc revealed its 5 April 2026 release date at the Jump Festa stage. A new trailer featuring the Straw Hats and their giant buddies was released.
Jump Studio
Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube
A new trailer for the Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube anime’s second cour was released at the event. The series’s opening theme song ‘ERASE’ by THE ORAL CIGARETTES and the ending theme song ‘MAGICAL’ by Ayumu Imazu were featured in the video for the first time. The new cour will start on 7 January, 2026.
The Elusive Samurai
It was announced during the stage event that The Elusive Samurai Season 2 will air in July 2026. A brand new key visual of the main characters was released.
Black Clover
Black Clover is finally coming back with a new season in 2026! The very exciting news also came with a new trailer and key visual, which has made fans even more hyped for this long-awaited sequel.
Haikyu!!
Fans of the popular volleyball manga and anime were not dissatisfied at the Jump Festa. It was confirmed that the Haikyu!! vs. The Little Giant movie and a special anime episode centering around Bokuto titled Haikyu!! The Place Where Monsters Go were both announced for 2027. A new preview video and an illustration of Hinata and Bokuto were unveiled as well.

Kill Blue
The Kill Blue anime released a new trailer and key visual at Jump Festa. The anime will air in April 2026.
