The series unveiled a brand new PV for its final season at the Jump Festa 2026.
Jump Festa 2026 has begun, bringing great news right out of the gate. During the first slot of the Jump Super Stage, it was announced that the My Hero Academia anime will release one more episode, even though the final season is already over.
The special episode, entitled ‘More’, will animate chapter 431 of Kohei Horikoshi’s manga, which was included in volume 42, and show us the future of the Class 1A students whom viewers have come to love. The episode will be released on 2 May, 2026.
My Hero Academia anime will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026
2026 will mark the 10th year anniversary of the My Hero Academia anime, as it first began airing in 2016. The long journey will be commemorated with not only this special episode, but even more events for the fans. As per the social media accounts of the anime, more details will be revealed soon.
Additionally, a new PV for the final season of My Hero Academia was released at the Jump Festa stage. It includes some very emotional and exciting moments from the season, featuring Midoriya and all the other fan-favourite heroes.
It seems that My Hero Academia has much more to offer fans in the coming year. Hence, those stuck feeling post-MHA-blues after finishing both the manga and the anime now have something to look forward to!
