Dr. Stone: SCIENCE FUTURE Cour 3 details

Unfortunately, the exact release date of the third cour hasn’t been revealed yet. However, the trailer shows us what we’re in for as Senku and his friends enter their final goal: a journey to the Moon. The video also gives us a glimpse of the new character Sai, who is a mathematical genius. Although anime watchers don’t know how Sai might influence the story, with a mathematical genius mind on his side, Senku is sure to have an upper hand against Xeno.

Even though we don’t know who will be voicing Sai, fans can take a look at the official character visual, which shows a young man with brown hair and a black substance covering his arms up to the elbows.

The Dr. Stone anime first came out in 2019, followed by season 2 in 2021. A TV special series titled Dr. Stone: Ryusui, which takes place between seasons two and three came out in 2022. Season 3 ran over two split cours in 2023. It was announced that the fourth and final season of the anime, titled Dr. Stone: SCIENCE FUTURE, will be divided into three cours. The first cour aired in Winter 2025, with the second following in Summer 2025. The third and final cour will air in April 2026.

Shuhei Matsushita directed the second cour of Dr. Stone: SCIENCE FUTURE at TMS Entertainment with Kurasumi Sunayama writing the scripts and composition. Yuko Iwasa designed the characters and Tatsuya Kato, Hiroaki Tsutusmi and Yukihiro Kanesaka composed the music.
