A new key visual for the upcoming season has been revealed at Jump Festa 2026.
During the second day of Jump Festa 2026, it was announced that DANDADAN Season 3 will air in 2027. This means fans will have to wait for more than a year for the next season of the popular shonen anime to arrive. A stunning teaser visual featuring some of the fan-favourite characters from the series has also been released.
DAN DA DAN Season 3 details
According to the official website and social media accounts of the DANDADAN anime, the third season will air in 2027. A definitive release date is yet to be announced. The new key visual features Momo, Okarun, Turbo Granny, and the mysterious girl in the Kaiju suit that made her first appearance in the final episode of season 2. The third season will adapt the manga’s Space Globalists arc.
The first season of DANDADAN aired in October 2024, while season 2 came out in July 2025. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the next update of the series, but it seems like they will have to wait for more than a year for the following season.
Crunchyroll and Netflix air the Science SARU produced anime globally. The series is based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s popular manga of the same name (Dandadan). Viz Media publishes the manga series in English. Crunchyroll describes the story as such:
