Who will Tomokazu Seki voice in Kagurabachi?

Tomokazu Seki is set to voice the character of Kunishige Rokuhira, Chihiro’s father and a master swordsman in the Kagurabachi anime. He is also the driving force behind most of Chihiro’s actions in the series.

Seki is known for his roles as Panda in JUJUTSU KAISEN, Sanemi Shinazugawa in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Selkie in My Hero Academia, and Shinya Kogami in Psycho Pass.

Tomokazu Seki has also released a statement, stating:

I was truly happy when I got the role of Kunishige Rokuhira.

Kagurabachi is a series loved by so many fans, and Kunishige is an important presence in the story.

I'm doing my best to convey the manga's passion and the feelings of the characters in a way that only anime can.

Previously, it was announced that Taihi Kimura (Adam Krensh in The Beginning After the End, Shingo Fujita in LIAR GAME) will be voicing the protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira.

Who are the staff members of the Kagurabachi anime?

Tetsuya Takeuchi is directing the Kagurabachi anime at Cypic (formerly known as Cygames Pictures). Keigo Sasaki is designing the characters for the anime.

Shochiku and CyberAgent are working jointly on the production.

What is Kagurabachi about?

The Kagurabachi anime is based on Takeru Hokazono’s manga, which began serialising in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2023. Viz Media and Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform publish the series in English digitally.

Viz Media describes the story as:

As a young boy, Chihiro trains every day under his father to become a swordsmith. Although different in temperament, the two spend peaceful days laughing and working together. But one day, tragedy strikes… Now Chihiro burns with hatred and sets out to exact revenge. Following clues left behind by a ruthless yakuza organization, Chihiro confronts the Hishaku, a deadly group of sorcerers that may be behind his father’s murder!
