Ufotable, the ones behind the Demon Slayer anime, is undoubtedly one of the best Animation Studios of our age. With the success and beauty of Demon Slayer, it’s no wonder that anime fans always look forward to the studio’s next project. Thankfully, the company has released a new promotional video that grants fans a sneak peek into all their upcoming projects for 2026 and beyond.
Ufotable’s projects coming in 2026
The new promotional reel first gives us a glimpse of Ufotable’s past projects, which includes the Fate/stay night anime franchise, Tales of game series cutscenes, as well as Demon Slayer. Then the video delves into all the future projects fans can look forward to.
Witch on the Holy Night
One of the main projects by Ufotable coming out this year is the anime film adaptation of Witch on the Holy Knight, Type-Moon’s visual novel game. The movie is set to premiere in Japan in 2026, but the exact release date is yet unknown.
Demon Slayer anime gets a rebroadcast
The Demon Slayer anime is getting a rebroadcast! It will begin on 5 April and release one episode every Sunday on Fuji TV in Japan. With the second Infinity Castle movie in the works, this is a great way to keep fans excited!
30th anniversary of the Tales franchise
The promotional reels also teased a 30th anniversary project for the Tales franchise. Tales is a fantasy role-playing game franchise for which Ufotable animated some incredible cutscenes. More details about the 30th anniversary celebration will be revealed on 3 April.
Ufotable’s Cafe to Go event
The Demon Slayers are coming to cafes! That’s right, Ufotable is bringing the Demon Slayer cafe to 47 prefectures in Japan in 2026. More details will be revealed at a later date.
The Machi Asobi event
Ufotable hosts an anime and gaming event called Machi Asobi in Tokushima City, Japan. The popular event includes everything from cosplay to stage events to merchandise. Details about the Machi Asobi will be announced on 9 March.
Ufotable’s future projects beyond 2026
Of course, the animation studio gave fans a glimpse of what’s in store for them beyond this year. Including the second Infinity Castle movie and the Genshin Impact anime adaptation.
Genshin Impact anime adaptation

Back in 2022, it was announced that the globally popular open world fantasy game Genshin Impact by MiHoYo is getting an anime adaptation by Ufotable. In the promotional reel, it was reinstated that the anime is still in the works. However, an exact release window has not been confirmed yet.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie part 2
The second movie of the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle trilogy is coming soon! Although we don’t know when it will be released, many are speculating that the film might premiere in 2027.
Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu
Ufotable confirmed that the Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu film is getting a theatrical release soon. The project is currently in production, and premiere details will likely be announced soon.
