The anime will premiere in April 2026.
The upcoming high-school romcom anime title “The Klutzy Class Monitor and the Girl with the Short Skirt” has revealed four new characters and their voice actors. The series is set to premiere in April 2026, although the exact release date is yet unknown. The anime is based on Takuma Yokota's manga, Ponkotsu Fūkiin to Skirt Take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi (The Story Between a Dumb Prefect and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length).

The four new cast members joining the series are:
- Hayato Dojima as Yu Izubuchi

I am Hayato Dojima and I will be voicing Yu Izubuchi. He takes extreme pride in being a health committee member. He is passionate, kind, and intuitive. He usually observes his surroundings with a wide perspective, but sometimes he doesn’t.

Hello everyone! I am Yuina Ito, the voice of Motoko Akina. I have been charmed with Akina’s character ever since I first read the manga. So when I passed the audition, I hugged my manager and jumped from joy!
Akina is a girl who brings a sense of excitement with her, as if she is always ready to do something. She has the power to brighten and warm your heart. I put all my effort into capturing her charm and cuteness while recording. Please look forward to the daily life of these noisy yet precious and lovable fools!

Tasaki is a cheerful mood-maker who connects the unique members of the class. She is also an otaku who is a member of the Manga Research Club, where unexpected parts of her personality might be seen?
I surprisingly didn’t struggle with building the character and felt the same way as Tasaki while acting. That’s because everyone fits their roles well, allowing for deep immersion into the characters.
It’s a work that you can watch with a smile on your face as everyone in it is a good kid! It has romance, comedy, and even some heartwarming moments. Fans of the original manga and those who will be experiencing it for the first time will enjoy it equally. Please look forward to Spring when you can finally meet these lovable smiling faces.

Daisuke Iwanaga directs the series at studio Zero-G. Masahiro Yokotani handles series composition and screenplay. Yuji Onishi, Tomoko Kanaharu are also working with Yokotani on the screenplay. Akira Himuro handles character design while also being the chief animation director.
The anime is based on Takuma Yokota’s manga, which began publishing Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in March 2019. The anime’s website describes the story as:
Sakuradaimon is a member of the discipline committee who checks the students' appearance in front of the school gates every morning.
Poemu-chan is a high school girl with an inappropriate skirt length who is stopped every morning during the checks .
The two, who seem like oil and water, suddenly bump into each other one day during extra lessons. Sakuradaimon, who everyone thought was serious and strict, is actually a useless discipline committee member who can't study at all!
They are complete opposites, but as they get to know each other, the distance between them gradually closes. This is a story of youth that begins with the meeting of Sakuradaimon-kun and Poemu-chan.
