A new teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming second season of the “Sasaki and Peeps” anime. It announced that the anime will premiere on 7 October, 2026, with a one-hour special episode. Moreover, new cast members, and details about the opening theme song have also been revealed.

Yūshi Ibe, the assistant director from Season 1, is directing Sasaki and Peeps Season 2, while Season 1 episode director Yamato Ouchi has taken up the role of assistant director. First season’s animation director Kazunori Ozawa is the action supervisor for Season 2. Season 1 2DCG designer Yūko Shintani is the compositing director of photography for Season 2, while the previous season’s 3D animator Tsutomu Ogasawara is the new season's 3D director.

What is Sasaki and Peeps about?
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku, which began publishing in the user-generated novel websites Kakuyomu and Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2018. In 2021, Media Factory began publishing the story in book format under their MF Bunko J imprint. A manga adaptation illustrated by Pureji Osho began serialising in Kadokawa Shoten’s Shōnen Ace Plus online magazine in 2024. The first season of the anime aired in March 2024.
Yen Press publishes the novel and manga in English and describes the story as:
