A new character turns up before Vakappa and Jack Wisp can kill the girls.
In the previous chapter of Yukinobu Tatsu’s DANDADAN manga, we saw how Red Baron and his lackeys captured Rin and Kouki. In the recent update, the villains were able to successfully extract their powers from them using a Kozuka knife. But before Jack Wisp and Vakappa can torture and kill the girls, all three villains feel the great urge to go to the bathroom.

DANDADAN Chapter 224 recap
The issue begins with Jack Wisp cutting Kouki’s hand with the Kozuki Knife, which steals her ‘Lord of the Flies’ Yokai power. After he hands the knife to Red Baron, Vakappa finally releases Rin from the water bubble, allowing her to breathe. Red Baron tells her that it’s her turn to hand over her powers next or Kouki will be drowned by Vakaappa. Rin begs for them to stop, but Red Baron says they will only let Kouki go when she accepts defeats.
Rin sees Mai struggling on the ground and asks what would happen to her. Red Baron says that all her power will belong to them, and that’s all there is to it. Ultimately, she chooses to save Kouki’s life and admits defeat. Red Baron cuts her cheek with the knife, stealing her Ombusman power. Unfortunately, Mai also disappears along with it. Red Baron starts to walk away, but Vakappa asks what they should do with the girls. The leader tells them to do whatever they want, they can even choose to kill them if they wish.
Vakappa and Jack Wisp say that they’re grateful. Kouki is finally let go from the water bubble prison. Vakappa chooses to torture Rin while Jack Wisp chooses Kouki. Vakappa sits on Rin’s head and plans to burst her head open with his thighs. On the other hand, Jack Wisp takes a knife and lifts up Kouki’s shirt to cut open her intestines. But before they can begin, a massive toilet bowl appears in the middle of the mall. All three villains suddenly start feeling rumbling in their stomachs.
The three of them start walking towards the bathrooms as it feels like they will be forced to defecate immediately if they don’t. When they finally make it to the bathroom, the villains see the tiny figure of a little girl standing there. Red Baron asks Jack Wisp to burn her, but his flames have no effect on her. In the final panel, we see the doll like being smiling up at the three men menacingly.
DANDADAN Chapter 224 review
With any other manga, a toilet yokai will shock me. But with how many times the most bizarre things have come up in DANDADAN, I’m not even surprised anymore. It seems that the latest addition to the ever growing cast refers to the Hanako-san urban legend in Japan, in which a little ghost girl haunts toilets. Her power to make people have bowel movements seems unfairly OP. Hopefully she will punish the three villains well after they were ready to assault and torture two high school students. I can’t wait to see what Tatsu cooks up next.
