The movie compiles the events of the second season of the anime, which adapted the Shibuya Incident arc of Gege Akutami’s manga, along with the first two episodes of the upcoming third season.
In Japan, the movie opened at #1 in its first week, dethroning the Chainsaw Man: Reze arc movie. Although Reze has once again claimed the top spot this week, the JJK film is also having an extremely successful run.
