Firefly Wedding is also getting an anime adaptation in October 2026.
Oreco Tachibana’s historical romance manga “Firefly Wedding” published its final chapter for pre-reading on Shogakukan’s Manga ONE platform. The official release of the final chapter is set for 2 February, 2026.
Manga ONE has also announced that Firefly Wedding is getting two spin-off series starting this February. This news comes right after the Firefly Wedding anime adaptation announcement, which is set for October 2026.
Firefly Wedding manga spin-off details
According to the announcement by Manga ONE, the manga will have two spin-offs. The first, titled Love and Poison (Koi to Doku), will release its first chapter on 2 February. The second and final chapter of the spin-off will be released on 2 March.
The second spin-off, titled Firefly Wedding Spinoff -The Assassin and a Young Child-(Hotaru no Yomeiri Gaiden -Hitokiri to Yōdō-) will have five chapters. The publishing dates of these chapters are:
- Chapter 1: 6 April
- Chapter 2: 4 May
- Chapter 3: 8 June
- Chapter 4: 6 July
- Chapter 5: 3 August
All chapters of the spin-off series will be available to read on the Manga ONE platform. With the spin-offs and anime adaptation on the way, Firefly Wedding fans have a lot to look forward to.
Comikey publishes Oreco Tachibana’s Firefly Wedding manga digitally in English while Viz Media publishes the print versions. Viz Media describes the story as:
