Things are finally coming to an end for Fire Force.
Fans of Fire Force are in for a blazing treat, as the second part of the final season is primed to set the anime world alight. The fiery continuation promises to fan the flames of excitement with a trailer that sparks curiosity, and hints at the infernos to come.
Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2 is set to begin airing in Japan on 10 January 2026, at 01:23 A.M. JST, with Crunchyroll streaming the episodes shortly after.
Trailer previews new opening and ending themes and the Great Cataclysm
A brand-new trailer for Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2 debuted at the Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2025, teasing the opening song, "Ignis" by Takanori Nishikawa (Soul Eater OP as T.M.Revolution). The ending theme, "Speak of the Devil", will be performed by Survive Said The Prophet (VINLAND SAGA OP), adding more heat to the season’s dramatic tone. Meanwhile, Hochu Otsuka, known for his role as Tsurumi in Golden Kamuy, joins the cast as Hibachi Shinmon, signalling new developments in the storyline.
The second cour is expected to cover the final arcs from the Fire Force manga, approximately chapters 219 through 304. Fans are anticipating major events, including Arthur Boyle’s climactic battle, the Great Cataclysm, and Shinra Kusakabe’s encounter with the Evangelist and its pillars, especially Haumea.
Returning to the director’s chair is Tatsuma Minamikawa, who also handled the second season of the anime in 2020. Hideyuki Morioka reprises his role as character designer, while Sei Tsuguta is responsible for scripts and series composition at David Production.
The first season was directed by Yuki Yase, with series composition by Yamato Haishima, laying the groundwork for this fiery saga. Now, the creative team returns to stoke the embers of Company 8’s latest challenges and threats.
Crunchyroll will stream the second cour upon its premiere, as it has for all previous seasons, ensuring that fans worldwide won’t miss a single flare-up of action.
Fire Force synopsis
In Fire Force, Tokyo is gripped by a mysterious phenomenon where citizens suffer from spontaneous human combustion. Enter the Fire Force, the elite team tasked with extinguishing these infernos. Shinra Kusakabe, now firmly part of Company 8, uses his Devil’s Footprints to combat the flames threatening to consume the city.
