It has been announced that “Dr. Stone SCIENCE FUTURE” Cour 3, the final part of the Dr. Stone anime, will begin airing on 2 April, 2026. Crunchyroll will stream the series globally as it releases.

Dr. Stone SCIENCE FUTURE is the fourth and final season of the anime, while the 3rd cour is the final installment of the season. This is huge news for the Dr. Stone fans as after seven years of airing, the anime is reaching its ultimate showdown.
It has been announced that an advanced screening of the first three episodes of season 4 cour 3 will be held at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya on 21 March. Several voice actors from the anime including Yusuke Kobayashi (Senku) and Ryota Suzuki (Ryusei) will attend this screening.
Previously, in the series’ trailer, it was announced that a new character named Sai will be joining the cast.
Shuhei Matsushita continues to direct the series TMS Entertainment. Kurasumi Sunayama handles series composition, while Yuko Iwasa designs the characters. Tatsuya Kato, Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and Yukihiro Kanesaka compose the music.
The anime is based on a manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki, and illustrated by Boichi. It was published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from March 2017, and ended in March 2022. The chapters are collected in 27 tankōbon volumes.
The Dr. Stone anime first came out in 2019, followed by Season 2 in 2021. A TV special series titled Dr. Stone: Ryusui, which takes place between Seasons 2 and 3 came out in 2022. Season 3 ran over two split cours in 2023. It was announced that the fourth and final season of the anime, titled Dr. Stone: SCIENCE FUTURE, will be divided into three cours. The first cour aired in Winter 2025, with the second following in Summer 2025. The third and final cour will air on 2 April, 2026.
