On 26 June, “Cyberpunk Edgerunners II” revealed a new teaser visual with the new character Weak Kingsley, who is the first original character introduced in this iteration. In a new update, Netflix has revealed the faces of the other characters in the visual, and announced that the series will premiere in Fall 2026.

What do we know about Cyberpunk Edgerunners II so far?
After Weak Kingsley, the three other characters who have been revealed are D, Roman Carax, and Talia Yang. All of them are visible in the visual under Kingsley from left to right.
However, no details about their voice actors have been revealed so far.
The second iteration of Cyberpunk Edgerunners was announced in 2025 with a short teaser.
Kai Ikarashi is directing the sequel at Studio Trigger after previously directing Episode 6 of the original anime. Masahiko Otsuka returns to handle the screenplay alongside showrunner Bartosz Sztybor, while Ichigo Kanno serves as character designer.
What is Cyberpunk Edgerunners about?
The Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series is an ONA (Orignal Net Animation) set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. The first season of the anime came out in 2022 and focused on the protagonist David Martinez. The second season, however, will follow an entirely new cast and story. The Night City lives on.
According to the official description, the anime is "a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge" spanning 10 episodes.
