The manga focuses on Kaioh Retsu who gets reincarnated into another world.

Another Baki spin-off story is getting an anime adaptation! The manga titled BAKI GAIDEN: KAIOH RETSU Doesn't Mind Getting Isekai'd (Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaioh wa Isekai Tensei Shitemo Ikō ni Kamawan) will be turned into an anime. The spin-off is of Keisuke Itagaki’s Baki manga.

What do we know about the BAKI GAIDEN: KAIOH RETSU anime so far?

TMS Entertainment released a short announcement teaser for the anime.

TMS Entertainment will continue to produce the anime, as they did with Baki, Baki Hanma, and Baki-Dou. No other cast or staff members have been announced so far.

The BAKI GAIDEN: KAIOH RETSU Doesn't Mind Getting Isekai'd manga is written by Sai Ihara and illustrated by Eiji Mutsui, the original concept is credited to Keisuke Itagaki. The manga began serialising in November 2020 in Akita Shoten‘s Monthly Shonen Champion magazine. 16 collected volumes have been released in Japan so far. 

The story of the manga follows Kaioh Retsu, a popular character from the Baki universe and a very powerful fighter. After he dies in a battle against swordmaster Musashi Miyamoto, Retsu wakes up in a fantasy world where magic exists. Instead of feeling hopeless, Retsu spends his days fighting powerful magical enemies.
