Momo and Okarun defeat the Mummy Man.
In the previous chapter of Yukinobu Tatsu’s Dandadan manga, we saw Momo and Okarun figure out how to use the Ogre Club to weaken the Mummy Man. In the recent chapter, after losing his human body, the Mummy Man, who is an alien, turns back into his massive alien form. However, now that Momo has a grasp on her Ki again, it wasn’t hard for the duo to defeat it. Back at the hospital, Seiko wakes up and sees that an old frenemy is there to visit her.

After Momo and Okarun successfully unwrap the bandages from the Mummy Man’s body, he starts to fall apart. But suddenly, a massive whale-like creature bursts out of the remains. Okarun remembers the theory that says there are aliens who can’t live on Earth without a human body. When these aliens return to space, the bodies are preserved so they can be used again. He realises that the whale is actually this alien’s real form.
The duo realises that the road is back to normal, and the massive alien will fall on top of them and crush them completely. Okarun asks Momo to visualise her Ki and send it his way so he can use the Ogre Club. Just in the nick of time, Okarun slashes the whale alien in half. The Serpo aliens run away saying he was a fool for leaving his human body as now he will be crushed by gravity.
The massive whale creature falls and disintegrates on the ground. Suddenly, Empty Space vanishes and Okarun and Momo are back in the real world. We see that Momo was able to create a shield and save them. Momo thanks Okarun, but he says it’s thanks to her that they're safe. He tells her that even without her memories, her intelligence and bravery are still the same. Momo then realises that she can’t walk and her body feels weak. Okarun gives her a piggyback ride and promises her that she’s light. Momo tells him that she believes in space aliens now.
The scene moves to the hospital where Momo’s grandmother Seiko is being treated. She wakes up and opens her eyes to see Turbo Granny lying down on the bed by her feet. Seiko asks if she’s been eating, and Turbo Granny answers that she has as the world is filled with delicious food. However, she says that all the awful people aren’t really to her taste.

TURBO GRANNY IS BACK! I can’t believe Tatsu finally brought her back after so many months of not even mentioning her. It seems that Seiko had contact with her during this time, although it hasn’t been confirmed yet. I hope she can team up with Okarun again to fight the upcoming war. Moreover, I’m really happy that Momo and Okarun are becoming close again, just as they were before.
