The original Japanese series is directed by Jōji Furuta at Studio Bridge. Shōji Yunemura wrote the scripts while Yuki Morimoto designed the characters. Arisa Okehazama composed the music for the anime. The series is based on Nikumaru’s manga series of the same name. HIDIVE describes the story as:
