The Winter 2026 anime “Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers” (Armor Legends Samurai Troopers) is coming back with its second cour soon. In a new trailer, the anime revealed that cour 2 will begin airing on 7 July, 2026. A new key visual, as well as details about the theme songs were also revealed. Moreover, new cast members were also introduced.

What is Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers about?
The Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers anime is a sequel of the original 1988 Sunrise anime Yoroiden Samurai Troopers, which was known in the US as Ronin Warriors. The new series takes place in present-day Shinjuku, Japan, where five young boys put on the legendary Yoroi Gear armours to fight the demon emperor and save humanity. Crunchyroll streams the sequel series and describes the story as:
When the seal of the Demon Realm shatters, demon soldiers surge into the Human World, tearing through everything in their path.
