The anime stars:

Shinpei Ezaki directs the anime at 8bit, with Daisuke Tanimura handling series composition. Kanayo Yoshibenchi is credited for the original character designs, while Keita Matsumoto adapts them for animation. Akiko Fujita serves as sound director, and Rei Ishizuka composes the music at Lantis.
What is “Witch and Mercenary” about?
The “Witch and Mercenary” anime adapts the light novel series written by Kaeru Chohokiteki and illystrated by Bench Kanase.
The novels began serialisation on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro in June 2021, before being acquired by Micro Magazine. The series would then be published under its GCN Bunko imprint in May 2023. The series is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Makoto Miyagi would soon follow, and will begin serialisation on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket manga website in January 2024. The English version of the manga is available to read through Kodansha's KManga app, which describes the story as:
