“Wistoria Wand and Sword” Season 2 unveils 12 April premiere and more in new trailer

Ahead of its Spring premiere, “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” Season 2 (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) has released a brand new trailer. It was also revealed that the season will premiere on 12 April, 2026. The opening and ending theme songs of the anime have been featured in the new PV. Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide.

Wisteria: Wand and Sword Season 2 details

The opening theme song of the series is ‘BELIEVERS’ performed by ASH DA HERO, while the ending theme song is ‘Reachlight’ performed by Shiui. 

The returning cast of the anime includes:

Hideaki Nakano directs the second season of the Wistoria: Wand and Sword at studio Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, while the first season’s director Tatsuya Yoshihara is stepping into the role of General Director. Sayaka Ono is the character designer and chief animation director, with Yuki Hayashi composing the music. 

The anime is adapted from the popular fantasy manga series written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi. It began publishing in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in December 2020. It has released 14 compiled volumes so far. The first season of the anime aired from July to September 2024.
