The second season of the beloved anime is coming this April.
The popular fantasy manga series “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” has surpassed 3 million total copies in circulation! To celebrate the wonderful news, it was announced that the manga will get a full-series reprint ahead of the second season of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, which is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.

Given the massive popularity of the anime, it’s not surprising that despite only starting in 2020, the Wistoria: Wand and Sword manga already surpassed 3 million copies in circulation. It has also been announced that the next tankōbon volume of the manga will be published in April 2026. No other details about the reprint have been revealed yet.
The author of the series Fujino Ōmori thanked everyone who helped the manga reach this milestone. He also asked fans to look forward to the second season of the anime as it’s going to be something amazing.
Toshi Aoi, the illustrator of the manga, released a new illustration to celebrate the news. He also thanked the manga readers for cheering them on and helping it get a reprint.
The manga began publishing in December 2020 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. The first season of the anime, produced by Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, came out in July 2024. The series is penned by Fujino Ōmori, who is also the author of “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?”
Kodansha publishes the series in English and describes the story as:
