47 year old voice actress Asami Yaguchi has sadly passed away. The talent agency Kenyū Office announced in an obituary post on 28 September that the voice actress suddenly died on Saturday, 26 September. A private funeral service is being held for her with only close relatives present, as per her family’s wishes.

The voice actress was born on 31 July, 1979 in Japan’s Saitama Prefecture. She made her voice acting debut in 2002. She is known for voicing Kuchipatchi in the 2007 series Let's Go! Tamagotchi, Tamagotchi The Movie, Tamagotchi! TV anime series, Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream, and Tamagotchi! Miracle Friends.
Yaguchi is also the voice of the child version of Gintoki Sakata in the popular comedy anime series Gintama.
She has also voiced Katina Tarask in Super Robot Wars OG: Divine Wars and Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector, Tarlant in Fantastic Children, and Eleonore Von Wittenburg in Dies irae. She was the voice of Pith in the Arknights game, and the voice of Young Eliwood in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Her death is a huge loss for the anime industry.
