The new chapters are being published to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the LaLa magazine.
The September issue of Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine came out on 24 July, and with it the announcement that Shinobu Amano’s manga “Last Game” and Matsuri Hino’s “Vampire Knight” are both getting one-shot chapters in the next issue. The upcoming issue will be released on 4 August.
The new chapters are being published to celebrate the 50th anniversary of LaLa magazine.
When are the new Vampire Knight and Last Game chapters coming?
As per the 24 July issue of the LaLa magazine, the new one-shot chapters of Last Game and Vampire Knight will appear in the next issue, which will be released on 4 August, 2026.
The new chapter of Last Game will be about Yanagi proposing to Kujou.
The new chapter of Vampire Knight will follow the characters prior to them entering high school.
LaLa’s 50th anniversary celebration has already started as the 24 July issue came with special chapters from the popular “Maid-sama!” and “Soredemo Otōto wa Koishitagaru” manga series.
What is Vampire Knight about?
Matsuri Hino’s manga Vampire Knight was serialised in the LaLa magazine from 2004 to 2013 and was collected in 19 tankōbon volumes.
Viz Media publishes the manga in English and describes the story as:

Shinobu Amano’s romance manga Last Game was published in LaLa from 2011 to 2016.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the series in English and describes the story as:
