Character arts of the four main characters have been revealed.
Daken’s fantasy light novel series “Tsuihо̄ Sareta Shо̄nin wa Kin no Chikara de Sekai wo Sukū” (The Exiled Merchant Saves the World with the Power of Gold) is getting an anime adaptation! The character arts for the four main characters of the series have also been revealed. Moreover, the manga adaptation of the novel has also launched in Japan.

What do we know about the Tsuihо̄ Sareta Shо̄nin wa Kin no Chikara de Sekai wo Sukū anime so far?
The anime adaptation has been confirmed alongside the character designs (revealed by Comic Natalie) of the leads. However, no other news such as the cast, staff, or possible release window have been announced.

A manga adaptation of the novel has begun serialising on Shufu to Seikatsu Sha's Comic PASH! website on 31 July, 2026. The manga has art by Sen Higashiyama and composition by Masahiro Itosugi.
The original light novel series is written by Daken, and began serialising in the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in March 2023. It was then acquired by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha, who published a single volume in March 2024 under their PASH! Bunko imprint with illustrations by Kasane Bench.
The story of the series focuses on a merchant named Torao, who belongs to the S-rank adventurer party ‘Blue Ring’. Torao is exiled from his party after they find out he has been embezzling their funds to help an all-female party named ‘Garnet’. But after he is fired, the Blue Ring party is annihilated by the Demon King after not heeding Torao’s warnings. Now Torao is turning to Garnet, whose first job is to defeat the demon king and recover his former party members’ equipment. Can the merchant and his team survive by throwing money at their problems?
