The new characters all belong to the Oni Brigade.
Ahead of its October 2026 premiere, the sequel of the “Tougen Anki” anime titled “Nikko Kegon Falls Arc” has revealed eight new characters and their voice actors. All the new characters belong to the Oni Brigade and a new key art of them has also been revealed.

Ato Nonoka directs the anime at Studio Hibari with Hiroyuki Hashimoto as the assistant director. Yukie Sugawara is in charge of the scripts while Ryoko Amisaki designs the characters. Kohta Yamamoto composes the music for the series.

The first season of the anime came out in July 2025. The second cour, covering the Nerima Arc, was released in October 2025.
What is Tougen Anki about?
The anime is adapted from Yura Urashibara’s Tougen Anki manga series. It has been serialised in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine since June 2020.
Yen Press publishes the manga in English and describes the story as:
Shiki Ichinose would have never guessed his adoptive father used to be an Oni-hunting Momotarou, much less that the old man walked away from that life just to raise him despite Shiki’s dangerous Oni blood.
