The anime has unveiled additional cast along with a new key visual.
The upcoming fantasy anime series “There was a Cute Girl in the Hero's Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her” announced its 6 January, 2026 premiere date. Ahead of the release, the official website and social media account of the anime also revealed additional cast members along with a new key visual.

The two new cast members who have been introduced are:
- Happiness voiced by Iori Noguchi
- Raven voiced by Ayumu Murase
As per the introductions, Happiness is a Harpy and a former subordinate of Yōki. On the other hand, Raven is the current leader of the Knight’s Order and the swordsman of the hero’s party.
Previously announced cast members include:
- Yōki voiced by Kōhei Amasaki
- Cecelia voiced by Kana Hanazawa
- Yūga voiced by Ryōhei Kimura
- Mikana voiced by Yūko Natsuyoshi
- Duke voiced by Toshiki Masuda
- Seek voiced by Minami Tanaka
Tomonori Mine directs the anime at studio GEKKOU, while Yasutaka Yamamoto oversees the project as the chief director. Yukie Sugawara handles the series composition with Mina Osawa designing the characters. MONACA and Satoru Kosaki are composing the music. The anime is based on the light novel series written by Suisei and illustrated by La-na. It also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Kairi. Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide and describes the story as:
