It was announced back in 2023 that the popular isekai action anime “The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat” will return with a second season. It has finally been confirmed that season 2 of the series will air sometime in 2027. A new teaser visual of the protagonist has also been revealed. A retrospective teaser has been released as well.

The main cast of the anime is returning to voice their respective roles. This includes:
- Kenji Akabane as Lugh
- Junpei Morita as Assassin
- Reina Ueda as Dia
- Yūki Takada as Tart
- Shino Shimoji as Maha
Masafumi Tamura is returning to direct the second season of The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat at SILVER LINK. Katsuhito Takayama is also coming back to pen the series composition. Eri Osada designs the characters while Kenichi Kuroda composes the music.
What is The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat about?
The anime is based on a light novel series written by Rui Tsukiyo and illustrated by Reia. It was first serialised in the user generated website Shōsetsuka ni Narō from July 2018 to October 2021. Kadokawa Shoten then acquired the series and began publishing it under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint in February 2019. A manga adaptation illustrated by Hamao Sumeragi began serialising on the Young Ace Up website in January 2019.
Yen Press publishes the light novels and manga in English and describes the story as:
“I’m going to live for myself!” The greatest assassin on Earth knew only how to live as a tool for his employers-until they stopped letting him live.
