A teaser trailer, visual, and the production staff details of the anime have been revealed.
It has been announced that Rainy Kamitsuki’s light novel series “Witch and Hound” (Majo to Ryōken) is getting an anime adaptation. A new trailer, teaser visual, and main staff members were revealed. However, no release window was announced for the fantasy adventure series.

What do we know about the Witch and Hound anime so far?
Takanori Tsujimoto directs the anime at TriF Studio, with Okamoto as the assistant director. un Tsukida and Rainy Kamitsuki are handling the series composition while Tsukida also pens the scripts. Kengo Saitō designs the characters and Yuki Hayashi composes the music.
No cast details for the anime have been revealed as of yet.
What is Witch and Hound about?
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Rainy Kamitsuki and illustrated by Lam. It began publishing in October 2020 under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko imprint. Minori Tsukahara illustrated the manga adaptation which was serialised in the Manga Up! website from May 2023 to July 2025.
Yen Press releases the manga series in English and describes the story as:
