It was announced back in July 2025 that Dr. Poro and Nabana Naba’s manga “The Vermilion Mask” is getting an anime adaptation. The latest update revealed that the series will air sometime later in 2026, although the exact date is still unknown.

Tetsuaki Watanabe directs the series at 100studio with Gai Hazako as the assistant director. Daisuke Ohigashi handles series composition while Hisashi Higashijima is the character designer and chief animation director. Nabana Naba and Dr. Poro are the story supervisors. Arisa Okehazama is composing the music for the series.
No cast details for the anime have been revealed as of yet.
