The first season of the anime aired in April 2025.
It has been confirmed that the fantasy anime The Unaware Atelier Master is getting a second season. The official website and social media accounts of the series have both confirmed the production of the second season. Unfortunately, a release window hasn’t been revealed.
The Unaware Atelier Master Season 2 details
The anime is based on the popular light novel series written by Yōsuke Tokino and illustrated by Zounoze. It also has a manga adaptation. The manga’s artist Naharu Furukawa has illustrated a confirmation visual for the second season. The illustration features Kurt, Lieselotte, Yulicia, and Akuri.

Hisashi Ishii directed the first season of the anime at EMT Squared. Deko Akao wrote the scripts while Miyuki Nakamura designed the characters. Harikemu Wata composed the music. Alpha Manga publishes the manga in English and describes the story as:
One day, Kurt, a kind-hearted boy, is suddenly kicked out of the Hero's Party for being "useless". He finds that his aptitude for weapons, magic, and all other combat-related skills is the lowest rank, so he takes odd-jobs repairing the castle walls and digging for minerals to make a living, where his exceptional abilities are immediately revealed. He proves to be skillful in cooking, building, mining, crafting magical tools--in fact, his aptitude for every skill unrelated to combat had an SSS-ranking! Kurt, however, seems completely unaware to his talent and ends up saving people, the town, and even the country through his unaware actions!?
What to expect from The Unaware Atelier Master Season 2
At the end of Season 1 of the anime, we saw that Rikuto was given the position of Viceroy of the Frontier from Taicone. Despite being a knight now, Kurt wanted to return to his handyman job. However, Rikuto plans to leave for some time and appoints Lieselotte as his proxy Viceroy, and gives Kurt the title of the Atelier Master.
The first season of the anime adapted the first two volumes of the original light novel series. We can expect to see how Kurt handles his new duties as the Atelier Master in the second season. With more magical shenanigans to come, fans are excited for the return of this anime.
