Ichi Yukishiro’s fantasy manga “The Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter” (Hone Doragon no Manamusume) is getting an anime adaptation! A brand new key visual of Eve and the dragon Nem have been released. The main staff working on the anime adaptation have also been revealed.
The Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter anime details
Kuniyasu Nishina directs the anime at Doga Kobo, with Yuka Yamada handling series composition. Tomoya Atsumi is the character designer, while KUSANAGI, Daiki Kuribayashi and Yuki Hatakeyama are handling the background art.
No cast members have been introduced as of yet.
A commemorative illustration for the anime by the manga creator Ichi Yukishiro has been posted by the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the anime. The comment from the author reads (machine translation):
When I first received news of the anime adaptation, I couldn't believe it was real and felt emotional.
It feels just like yesterday when my editor brought me back to the reality of deadlines by saying, “It's still a while away, so let's continue working on the manga calmly.”

The manga series began serialisation on Mag Garden’s Mag Comi website in September 2020. Later, it was transferred to the Monthly Comic Garden magazine in 2022. Six collected volumes of the manga have been published in Japan so far.
J-Novel Club publishes the manga in English digitally and describes the story as:
In the Forest of Scraps, a place where all manner of things are discarded, an old dragon sleeps away his final days—that is, until an abandoned child suddenly appears before him.
