The fantasy romance manga takes place in the kingdom of Marronnier, which is located at the centre of a group of eight kingdoms. The leader of Marronnier Baribara has seven sons, who are dispatched to the other seven kingdoms to find their fated partners. The brothers each have a distinct trait and are named: Nemukunai (Not Sleepy), Hakuai (Benevolent), Atsugariya (Sensitive to Heat), Samugariya (Sensitive to Cold), Kemono Tsukai (Beast Tamer), Tsurugi Jiman (Sword Pride), and Harapeko (Hungry). As they leave for these foreign lands, the brothers face new adventures and even find love.
