Although Season 1 for ‘The Ramparts of Ice’ ended with a cliffhanger, fans won't have to wait long for the next half of Koyun and her friends' story. The official social media and website of the anime has confirmed that the second season will premiere on 1 October 2026.
Season 2 will air every Thursday in Japan at 11:56PM JST, nationwide throuuh 28 TBS network stations. It is unconfirmed if the anime will once again be streamed by Netflix simultaneously worldwide as of now.
What will Season 2 be about?
Since the first season of ‘The Ramparts of Ice’ adapted the first 70 chapters of the manga it is based on, it is highly likely that the second season will animate the remaining chapters until Chapter 117. This means the 2 seasons for ‘The Ramparts of Ice’ will adapt the manga in its entirety.

The story centers around Koyuki Hikawa, a socially withdrawn student who keeps an emotional wall between herself and others. The only person she spends time with is her longtime friend, Miki Azumi. One day, her quiet life is disrupted when a boy named Minato Amamiya inexplicably starts trying to break through her barriers.
