After 27 long years, Takeshi Konomi’s era-defining sports manga The Prince of Tennis has finally come to an end. The sequel manga series, “The Prince of Tennis II” or “The New Prince of Tennis” released its final episode, bringing the long-standing saga to its conclusion.

The 477th and final episode of The Prince of Tennis II manga has been published in the September 2026 issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine, which came out on 4 August. The magazine boasts a full-page, full-colour illustration of the manga characters.

Jump SQ's September issue has also been reprinted with an additional 165% of the usual print run.

The Prince of Tennis II manga began serialisation in Shueisha Jump Square magazine in March 2009. It has 47 collected volumes so far, with the 48th and final volume set to come out on 4 September, 2026.
The original manga, titled The Prince of Tennis, began serialising in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in July 1999 and ended in March 2008. There are a total of 42 collected volumes of this manga.
