The upcoming supernatural romance anime series “The Ogre’s Bride” (Oni no Hanayome) introduced two adorable new characters and their voice actors. Previously, it was confirmed that the series will premiere sometime in 2026, but the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
The Ogre’s Bride new cast, staff, and other details
The two new voice actors who have joined the cast are:
- Momoka Terasawa as Sou
- Miyu Kobashi as Ao
Previously announced main cast members of the anime are:
- Saori Hayami as Yuzu Shinonome
- Yuichiro Umehara as Reiya Kiryuuin
Kazuhito Omiya directs the anime at Colored Pencil Animation Japan. Yumi Kamakura handles the scripts while Hikari Tanaka designs the characters. Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music for the series.
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Kureha and illustrated by Yū Shiroya. It began serialising on Starts Publishing’s Novema platform in 2019, where it also received the grand prize at the First Novema! Character Short Story Contest. In 2020, Starts Publishing began publishing print versions of the books under their Starts Shuppan Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation illustrated by Jun Togashi would later be serialised in Starts Publishing’s Noicomi magazine in 2021.
