The upcoming slice-of-life, gourmet anime, “The Food Diary of Miss Maid”, has unveiled new information in a first promotional video ahead of its April 2026 premiere. It includes new additional characters, as well as a snippet of its opening theme song.
Unfortunately, an exact broadcast date is yet to be confirmed.

The two new voice actors joining the cast are:
- Shizuka Ishigami as Sora Endo
- Hiromi Igarashi as Anzu Shingetsu
While previously announced cast members are:
- Kana Ichinose as Suzume Tachibana
- Chihiro Sunou as Ricotta Fresca
- Maki Kawase as Nana Komatsu
The opening theme song, “Ribbon”, is performed by majiko, while the ending theme song, titled “Shiawase Flavor” is performed by ARCANA PTOJECT.
Ryosuke Senbo directs The Food Diary of Miss Maid anime at EMT Squared and Magic Bus. Natsuki Takahashi and Saeka Fujimoto are writing and overseeing the series scripts, while Chiaki Abe is designing the characters. Katsutoshi Kitagawa from ROUND TABLE is composing the music.
The anime is based on the manga series by Susumu Maeya. Kodansha publishes the manga in English, and describes the story as such:
What’s a maid to do when she finds herself suddenly stuck in Japan for a year? Eat, of course! Follow maid-in-training Suzume Tachibana as she tries all sorts of Japanese food, from sweets like taiyaki and melon bread to savory snacks like takoyaki and onigiri! Be warned, though-while Suzume sates her appetite through delicious treat after delicious treat, she might just end up whetting yours!
