A new winter visual has also been revealed.
It was previously announced that the upcoming slice-of -life gourmet anime The Food Diary of Miss Maid will be released in 2026. In the most recent update, it was revealed that the series will premiere in April 2026, the Spring season. A key visual of the protagonist Suzume has also been revealed.
The Food Diary of Miss Maid anime details
The new holiday visual features the anime’s protagonist Suzume Tachibana enjoying a Chun-man bun. The series will air in April 2026, but an exact release date is yet to be revealed.
The cast of the anime so far consists of:
- Kana Ichinose as Suzume Tachibana
- Chihiro Sunou as Ricotta Fresca
- Maki Kawase as Nana Komatsu
Ryosuke Senbo directs The Food Diary of Miss Maid anime at EMT Squared and Magic Bus. Natsuki Takahashi and Saeka Fujimoto are writing and overseeing the series scripts, while Chiaki Abe is designing the characters. Katsutoshi Kitagawa from ROUND TABLE is composing the music.
The anime is based on the manga series by Susumu Maeya. Kodansha publishes the manga in English, and describes the story as such:
