The popular action anime “The Fable” is coming back with a second season! The series has officially been renewed for season 2. Unfortunately, we don’t know when the sequel will be released. The returning cast and staff members from the first season have also been revealed.

The Fable Season 2 was announced with a key visual of protagonist Akira Sato holding a gun. The release schedule of the series is yet unknown. It’s likely that the upcoming season will adapt the Yamaoka Arc of Katsuhisa Minami’s manga.

Ryosuke Takahashi is returning to direct the second season at Tezuka Productions. Yūya Takashima will continue to provide series composition and write the scripts with Mayumi Morita. Kyūma Ōshita and Saki Hasegawa are returning to design the characters. Yasuyuki Urakami returns as the sound director. Yo Tsuji is the new music composer for the upcoming season.
What is The Fable about?
The Fable is a manga series created by Katsuhina Minami. It was serialised in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine from November 2014 to November 2019. A sequel titled The Fable: The Second Contact was serialised from July 2021 to July 2023. The first season of the anime aired from April to September 2024. Disney+ streamed the series worldwide.

How is the most talented genius assassin ever not supposed to kill anyone? Specially trained since he was a child to be a hitman, the invincible killing genius known as Fable can eradicate any opponent in six seconds or less.
