Tohru Himuka’s manga series “The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom” (Gekkakoku Kiiden) is getting an anime adaptation! A new PV has been released, along with the main cast and staff of the project. Unfortunately, no details about the anime’s possible release date have been revealed yet.

Who are the production staff members of The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom anime?
Koichiro Kuroda directs the anime at Studio Elle. Risa Mizuno, under the pen name Aki Mizuki, is penning the series scripts. Akira Ono designs the characters while Hozumi Gōda is the sound director. Shiho Terada composes the music with Highway Star producing it.

What is The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom about?
The manga began serialising in Kadokawa Shoten’s shojo manga magazine Asuka in January 2018. Kadokawa shipped the 15th volume of the manga on 22 May, which coincides with the anime announcement.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga volumes in English and describes the story as:
The doctor's medicinal bath is at the height of prosperity against illnesses and injuries in the Moon Flower Kingdom. During the crown prince Keiun's regional inspection, a young girl named Koyō successfully completes an astonishing "suture surgery" right in front of Keiun's eyes.
