The 196th chapter of the popular romcom manga “The Dangers in My Heart” (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) announced that the series will end in three more chapters. It was previously announced that the upcoming 14th compiled book volume of the manga will be its last.

When is The Dangers in My Heart manga ending?
The Champion Cross website, which publishes the original manga in Japanese, published the 196th chapter of the series and announced that it will end in three more chapters. It’s likely that the 199th chapter will be its last. However, the exact release date of the final update is yet unknown.
Previously, it was announced that the upcoming 14th collected volume will be its last.
What is The Dangers in My Heart about?
Norio Sakurai began serialising the manga in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in March 2018. The manga then moved to Akita Shoten's Champion Cross manga website in April 2018. Akita Shōten also publishes the collected volumes of the manga.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the collected volumes of the manga in English and describes the story as:
Ichikawa Kyotaro, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school's social ladder, secretly believes he's the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates' peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. The manga received an anime adaptation in April 2023. A short ONA spin-off came out in December of the same year. The second season of the anime aired in January 2024, while a compilation movie followed suit in early 2026 The third season is set to come out in 2027.
