What is Wasted Chef about?
As previously mentioned, the film is a blend of cuisine and sci-fi, and the trailer lives up to it. We get to see some beautifully animated cooking scenes, as well as a dystopian sci-fi world in the end. In a recent report by Variety, the story was described as:
A young chef chasing a lost flavor lands in a ruined city without taste. Saved by Kasumi, his cooking awakens forgotten memories. But a dark force threatens to erase all desire — making his quest the last hope to save both worlds.
