Tadaima, Ojamasaremasu! anime cast, staff, and other details

The main cast of the anime are:

  • Kana Hanzawa as Rinko Nakama
  • Kaito Ishikawa as Akito Satsuki
  • Haruki Ishiya as Haruma Usada

Itsuki Imazaki directs the anime at Tatsunoko Production, and also handles the series scripts along with Makoto Takeda. Shinsuke Kikuchi  is the character designer and chief animation director.

The anime is based on Watomura’s full-colour manga which began serialising in  NTT Solmare's Koisuru Soirée digital magazine in October 2020. Kadokawa has published three volumes of the manga so far.

The story of the series follows 24 year old closeted otaku Rinko, who likes to destress after work by reading her favourite manga  Usaneko-bu and watching anime. But any time she tries to watch anime, the prickly man living in the apartment to her right starts to bang on her wall. Scared, Rinko asks her left-side neighbour, the handsome and sweet Akito Satsuki for help. But the argument between the two men results in the right side wall of her apartment breaking down. To her surprise, Rinko’s angry neighbour turns out to be Usaneko-bu’s author Haruma Usada, who doesn’t like living beside a fan. Haruma ultimately ends up kicking down Satsuki’s side of the wall as well, which results in them sharing a bizarre common living space. But when the three start to bond, emotions arise.
