A newly opened official website has announced that Sinnoa’s web novel turned webtoon series “SSS-Class Revival Hunter” is getting an anime adaptation! The anime is set to air in January 2027. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs next year. A teaser video and visual have been released for the anime, which announces the main cast members.

What do we know about the SSS-Class Revival Hunter anime so far?
The two main cast members of the anime are:
- Takeo Ōtsuka as Gongja Kim
- Satoshi Hino as the Sword Emperor
Hiroaki Sakurai is directing the anime series at STUDIO fu, with Sayuri Oba writing the scripts. Takahiro Yoshimatsu is designing the characters.
Crunchyroll will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian Subcontinent, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore as it airs in January 2027.
What is SSS-Class Revival Hunter about?
The anime is adapted from a South Korean webnovel by Sionna which was serialised from 2018 to 2020 on the Munpia platform. A manhwa, adapted by Neida and illustrated by Bill K, has been serialised online via the KakaoPage platform since December 2020. Tapas publishes the webtoon in English while WuxiaWorld does the same for the webnovel.

A mysterious tower crawling with monsters has suddenly appeared, drawing Hunters willing to risk their lives for glory and riches. Kim Gongja, a weak F-rank Hunter, spends his days envying the Flame Emperor who reigns as the top Hunter.
