What’s better than one girls’ golf anime? It’s two fan-favourite girls’ golf anime collaborating for a cute mini-series. That’s right, the Sorairo Utility anime, which started airing its first season in January 2025, has teamed up with another original anime series BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls’ Story for a mini-anime. The two-part series features chibi versions of the popular characters from both anime. The first part of the two-part series is already available to watch on the Sorairo Utility YouTube channel.
The second part of the series is set to air on Thursday, February 13, 2025. The first instalment featured Minami and Haruka from Sorairo Utility, who appeared on Hoshimin’s channel where she streams about golf. They’re joined by BIRDIE WING stars Eve and Aoi. Although everyone else wants to talk about the game to the viewers, the competitive Minami and Aoi can’t help but strike up a new rivalry, which takes a very entertaining turn. Fans are excited to see what the short anime brings next.
Produced by Yostar Pictures, Sorairo Utility first released a movie back in 2021. However, due to the popularity of this original project, an original animation started airing in January 2025. On the other hand, BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls’ Story, produced by Bandai Namco Pictures, released its first season back in 2022. The second season came out the following year in 2023.
