A short preview video has been released for the upcoming first episode of Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2.
Katsumi Ono is returning to direct the series at Aura Studio, who are replacing Studio KAI and HORNETS as animation producers. Toru Imanishi also returns as character designer. What is Skeleton Knight in Another World about?
The Skeleton Knight in Another World anime is based on a light novel series of the same name written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by KeG. It began publishing online in October 2024, and was later released in print via the Overlap Novels Imprint in June 2015. Akira Sawano illustrates the manga adaptation.
Seven Seas publishes both the books and manga in English and describes the story as:
One day Arc wakes up in the world of his favorite MMORPG…and discovers that he’s become exactly like his game character, a heroic knight who just so happens to be a skeleton! The whole skull-for-a-head thing is maybe going to be a problem. Arc resolves to keep a low profile, lest anyone mistake him for a monster, but he can’t quite manage to turn a blind eye to the troubles of his new world. Adventure awaits, and the Skeleton Knight will be there to meet it!
