The studio’s latest short net project was Rakuraku Hanten, which launched on 18 September.
The animation studio ‘Plott’, known for their short net animation projects, is planning to branch into TV anime. Instead of just releasing short anime projects over YouTube, the company plans to release three short anime series on Japanese over-the-air television in 2027.
What is Plott plotting with their next projects?
In a report, Plott revealed that after working on many short net anime projects, they are finally planning to release short shows over terrestrial anime TV channels next year. Three short anime series will be released one after another over Japanese on-air anime channels. Details about these projects will be revealed later.
Plott’s previous project was a 41-minute anime short named “Rakuraku Hanten”, which was released on the official YouTube channel on 18 September, 2026.
Miriyasu Kamata was the main scenario writer for the short anime, while Niigata Amon was the character designer. Amon also drew the key visual art. The key visual and graphic logo was designed by TO2KYO2. Plott handled the production and planning for Rakuraku Hanten.
Plott previously launched the Tengu Tosen short anime on YouTube on 24 July, with co-production by Bandai Namco Pictures.
