The series will premiere on Crunchyroll in 2026.
The upcoming anime “Sekiro: No Defeat”, adapted from the popular action adventure game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, just revealed additional cast members in a new update. The first promotional video of the series was also released, which grants fans a look at what’s to come.
The series is set to debut on Crunchyroll globally in 2026 (excluding Japan, China, Korea, Russia and Belarus), and will also get a theatrical release in Japan this year.
Sekiro: No Defeat anime new cast, staff, and other details
The newly announced cast members of the series includes:
- Jin Urayama as Busshi
- Shizuka Ito as Ema
- Akimitsu Takase as Hanbe
- Takaya Hashi as Fukuro
- Tetsuo Kaneo as Isshin Ashina
Previously announced main cast members of the anime are:
- Daisuke Namikawa as Wolf
- Miyuki Satō as Kuro/The Divine Heir
- Kenjiro Tsuda as Genichiro Ashina
All of the voice actors in the anime are reprising their roles from the 2019 video game, which has made fans even more excited for the series.
‘Blu’ by the last master Ryuichi Sakamoto will be used as the theme song for the anime. The song was included in Sakamoto’s 2015 album ‘The Best of Playing the Orchestra 2014’.
Kenichi Kutsuna directs the anime at studio Qzil.la, with Shunsuke Fukui as the Deputy Director. Takuya Satou pens the scripts with Takahiro Kishida designing the characters. Shuta Hasunuma is composing the music for the series. Other staff members include:
