Momo, Okarun, and their friends begin their group date.
The latest chapter of the Dandadan manga focuses mainly on Seiko, as she learns more about the Black Paladins from the masked priests, who are revealed to be the Yatagarasu. As their sinister plan unfolds, we see Momo, Okarun, and the rest of their friends heading to an amusement park for their group date. However, danger is looming nearby and the kids might need to face some bloodthirsty enemies.

The issue begins with Seiko and the masked priests sitting in a room. The elder priest says that the recent attacks on the children seem to be done by the Black Paladins, and they have likely infiltrated urban areas. Seiko asks who they are and the priest answers that the Black Paladins are a clan of 13 prominent noble families from all around the world. They have a shared ideology of world conquest. However, co-operation amongst the families is not always possible. The one invading their lands right now is Vlad, a prince from the Delacroix family.
The elder says that according to their sources, the Delacroix family is collecting yokai powers to boost their strength for war, and eventually become the greatest of the 13 noble families. Annoyed, Seiko asks why ordinary people like them are being dragged into their struggle for power. The elder answers that this has been the case in every age. Human evolution and the progression of civilisation aren’t proportionate. When someone is born in this world crying, but there is no one to teach them anything, what happens when that person grows up and obtains power?
Instead of making things themselves, they steal things from other people when they want. They become comfortable with hurting people and the fighting never ends. The elder says that people need to learn from history. When you fail, you fix it, and improve things little by little. The culture left behind by our ancestors is an accumulation of that process. He also tells Seiko that she needs to pass on those lessons to the younger generation so that they don’t make the same mistakes. Seiko agrees and the priests get up to leave. The elder says that they sent a strong person to her house. They leave while saying they need to make a proper showing of the power of the Yatagarasu.
After they leave, Seiko and Turbo Granny start to banter. The scene changes and we see Momo, Okarun, Aira, Jiji, Vamola, and Kinta are all at an amusement park for a group date. The group starts joking and talking amongst themselves. Okarun and Aira start talking about dinosaurs and how there was a giant meteorite impact during the Younger Dryas period 13,000 years ago. The magnetic field and earth’s gravity might have changed due to the impact. Listening to them talk, Momo feels left out and turns away.
Okarun looks at her and thinks about how he lied when he said that he was only joking about wanting to go on a date. He admits that he loves Momo a lot, and it wasn’t a joke. We then see someone holding a Kozuka knife, saying in order to complete the Fairy-Tale Card, they need the power of The Adventures of Pinocchio. A group of people are revealed, with the leader wearing a white face mask, while the people behind him are covered in white clothes and white conical masks. The leader says that they won’t let Saint Germain get the glory and accomplish this as the White Dragons. In the end we see Okarun’s face as they say their primary target is the one who wields the power of The Adventures of Pinocchio.

The Yatagarasu is a three-legged crow god figure who is very famous in Japanese mythology. The fact that the masked priests are connected with this legendary positive figure makes them even cooler. I wonder who they sent to Seiko’s house and how strong they are. On the other hand, Okarun being the Pinocchio card is really exciting. It makes sense when he thinks of himself as a liar for lying to Momo. On the other hand, he now has an Ogre Club that grows in size, much like Pinocchio’s nose. I’m very interested to see how the kids fight these White Dragons in the upcoming chapters.
