A new key visual for the upcoming season has been released.
During the MF Bunko J Fall School Festival 2025 livestream, Kadokawa announced that a second season of the popular anime Sasaki and Peeps will air in 2026. Although the exact premiere date remains unknown, fans are excited for the upcoming sequel. A key visual of the central characters has also been released.
Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 details
Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 is coming sometime in 2026. The new key visual depicts the main characters Sasaki, Peeps, and some others including Otonari-san, Shizuka Futari, Hoshizaki-san, and Elsa.
Kantoku, the illustrator for the original light novel series drew a celebratory illustration for the second season. The manga adaptation illustrator Pureji Osho has also posted a drawing of Sasaki and Pii-chan to celebrate the same.

The same staff is returning for the second season of the anime, which means Mirai Minato is directing the series at SILVER LINK. Deko Akao is writing and overseeing the scripts while Saori Nakashiki designs the characters. The two new additions to the staff are Kōji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki, who will compose the music for Sasaki and Peeps Season 2. The first season of the anime aired in January 2024 and is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku. Yen Press publishes the novels in English and describes the story as:
