Yuto Suzuki’s popular manga “Sakamoto Days” has surpassed 18 million copies sold worldwide! The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the manga revealed the news after Shueisha released the 28th compiled book volume of the series on 4 August, 2026.

What is the Sakamoto Days manga about?
With the release of the 28th collected volume of the Sakamoto Days manga, the series has surpassed 18 million copies sold worldwide. A few days ago, it was revealed that the manga has entered its final battle arc and will likely end soon.
Yuto Suzuki began serialising the Sakamoto Days manga series in Shueisha’ Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in November 2020. An anime adaptation of the manga by TMS Entertainment aired in January to March 2025. The series aired its second cour in July to September 2025. The second season of the anime will premiere in January 2027. In April 2026, a live-action movie adaptation of the manga was released in Japan.
MANGA Plus and Viz Media publish the manga series in English. Viz media describes the story as:
